- My name is Maurice "Rocket" Richard. I am a hockey player in the NHL and have played with the Montreal Canadians, winning 8 Stanley Cups. Unfortunately, on March 13, 1955 I made some poor decisions and let my temper get the best of me when I assaulted two players and an official on the ice. That got myself supsended from playing the game that I love. Because of that incident, the president of the NHL, Clarence Campbell, got physically assaulted at the next Habs game. This started a riot which spilled onto the streets and forever changed, not only hockey, but the socio-political aspects of Francophone Quebec
